Registration

Nursing in Newfoundland and Labrador is governed by the Registered Nurses Act, Registered Nurses Regulations and By-laws.

Registered Nurses in Newfoundland and Labrador must adhere to the Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitioners, and Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics.  In addition, all RNs wishing to renew a practicing licence with the College must complete all components of the Continuing Competency Program (CCP).
