New Regulatory Management System

The first stage of the College’s new regulatory management system launched on July 24, 2023. This new system provides registrants and applicants with a secure, easy-to-use portal to apply for a license, log CCP activities, submit and request documents and support other regulatory needs.

Registrant Email Address Now Required for Login

Registrants will be required to log on to the new system using their email address. The new system uses the email addresses registrants have provided to the College as part of their registration and renewal process. This differs from the old process of logging on to MyCRNNL using a registration number.

For a small number of cases, two registrants have provided the College with the same email address. In order to access the new system, however, all registrants will be required to log in with their own unique email address. If you share an email address with another registrant, please learn more about this process below.

Registrants who share an email address with another registrant will be required to provide the College with a new email address of their own. Please contact our Registration Services team at registration@crnnl.ca to provide this information as soon as possible. This will ensure that each of you is able to access your individual registrant profiles, log your CCP and renew your license for the 2024-2025 licensure year.

The College is taking further steps to increase the security of our system by introducing two-factor authentication to our registrant/applicant portal.

Two-factor authentication is when someone is granted access to a website or application after submitting additional information such as a verification code. It provides an additional level of security that requires you to verify that you are the owner of the account. This additional step can keep your data safe because to access your account, you will need a code that belongs specifically to you.

FAQs and Instructions

All current registrants/applicants received a Welcome email with links and instructions to log in when the new system came online. The first time you log in to the new system, you will be prompted to create a new password. Going forward, all registrants/applicants will log in using their email address and password.

As part of the two-factor authentication process, you will be prompted to submit a validation code when you log in. The code will be sent to the email address you use to log in. Check your inbox, copy the verification code, and then input this code exactly as shown into the web browser. Click ‘validate’ and you will then be logged in and able to access the portal.

Please note: If you do not receive your verification code email, please check your spam/junk folders.

If you have any questions, please contact our Registration Services team at registration@crnnl.ca.

If you have forgotten your password and need to reset it, go to the portal page. Request a password reset by clicking ‘Forgot your password’.

You will be directed to input the email address that you provided to the College, as well as to put in a security code. After you enter this information and click ‘submit’ you will receive an email with a link to reset your password. Follow the instructions provided in the email and you will create a new password for your account.

No. Creating a new account within Alinity will not give you access to your existing profile.

An email address is required to log into Alinity. If you cannot access the email that is on file with the College, contact our Registration Services team at registration@crnnl.ca with the email address that you are currently using. One of our team members will follow up to ask you some questions to verify your identify before making any changes to the account login information. Once the login email has been updated, you will receive the Welcome to Alinity email at your new address. Follow the steps outlined in the email to confirm your account and login.

Profile updates allow registrants to update contact information, name changes, practice/employment changes, and other vital information to ensure it is as current as possible.

To make a change, log in to the portal using your email and password.

Select the “My Profile” tab on the left and you will be taken to the profile update form. Click “Edit profile” and you can select the information you wish to change. If your change requires approval, registration staff will be notified to confirm and approve. Once approved, your information will become active on your profile.

Log in to the portal using your email and password.

To request verification of registration, select this option from under the “My Forms” section on the home page of the portal.

Fill in the form to submit your request and staff will be in touch via the portal.

To find your registration number, visit our Member Search.

Registrants, employers, and other stakeholders will be able to search for a registrant record by entering a name in the applicable fields and clicking ‘search’.

Once you locate your name after clicking ‘search’, you will see your registration number next to your name.

Click the Details arrow on the right for more information on your registration and licensure.

Log into the member portal (Alinity) and select ‘My Learning’. You will need to add a learning activity log for the applicable licensure year before you can enter any learning activities.

Click the Plus button at the end of the table row (next to Last Updated) to add a learning activity log.

If you have a practicing license for the current (2023-24) year, select 2024 as the registration year. If you need to log your CCP in order to obtain a practicing license for the current year (2023-24), select 2023 as the registration year.

Ensure you have logged in with the email address on file with the College and are under your registrant profile. If you used “sign up” to create a new account in Alinity, you will not see My Learning. To confirm you have logged into your correct profile, you should see your current licensure status with effective and expiry dates, under ‘Active Permit’.

If you do not see your current licensure status, please contact our Registration Services team at registration@crnnl.ca to confirm your login information.
