The College of Registered Nurses Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitioners

In October 2019, College Council approved the document Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitioners. This document will replace the 2013 Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses and the Standards for Nurse Practitioners. This presentation will describe the process involved in updating the Standards of Practice, provide an overview of the changes, and discuss how the Standards are applied in various practice domains.
