New Regulatory Management System Now Live Read

Renewal 2023-24 Now Open

Renewal is now open for the 2023-2024 year (April 1, 2023 – March 31, 2024). Please visit MyCRNNL to renew your annual (2023-24) practicing licence or non-practicing membership now.

The admin deadline is March 1st. As a regulated professional, all RNs and NPs are required to provide the College with all required documentation so that your licence can be issued by March 31. Failure to submit your practicing licence application by March 1st, will result in having to pay a late fee of $50 plus HST.

New Continuing Competency Program requirements

The College introduced its new CCP on May 9th, 2022. ALL RNs/NPs are required to log their required number of learning activity hours and summative evaluation before applying for a practicing licence. Failure to do so will result in RNs/NPs being unable to renew their licence to practice. Visit https://crnnl.ca/practice/continuing-competency/ to learn more about CCP.

The importance of renewing as soon as possible cannot be understated. Practising nursing without a licence is against the law. Each shift worked without the proper documentation will result in a fine of $100 per shift and an allegation of conduct deserving of sanction may be filed against you. To avoid any penalties, it is in your best interest to renew immediately.

Please note:
If you held registration/licence in another province/territory/country within the last 12 months, you must provide a verification of registration from the nursing regulatory body. Click here for the request form that you will need to provide to the nursing regulatory body in that jurisdiction(s). The document must be received by the College before your licence can be renewed. Online verification is not acceptable. Ensure you make your request early.
