Indigenous Partnerships and Anti-Racism

In this presentation, Ms. Brown will discuss the impact of racism as a social determinant of health and the role of the Registered Nurse in ensuring culturally safe care for patients, their families, and communities. She will describe the work Labrador Grenfell Health has been doing in partnership with the Indigenous Peoples of Labrador in working towards cultural competence at the individual healthcare provider and organizational level.
