Call for Volunteers – 2023-2024 NCLEX-RN Item Development Opportunities
NCSBN is currently recruiting qualified nurses to serve on upcoming NCLEX-RN item development panels.
The qualifications for volunteer nurses interested in participating are outlined in the NCLEX Item Development brochure. Please note that all volunteer opportunities are held at the NCSBN office in downtown Chicago, and travel expenses, including airfare, lodging and meals, are covered by NCSBN.

The NCLEX is designed to test the knowledge, skills and abilities essential to safe and effective nursing practice at the entry level. The process of developing exam items (questions) requires multiple steps and involves many qualified volunteers to write and review items.
