Workplace Representative Program

Workplace Representatives (WPRs) are RNs volunteering to serve as links between the College and nursing colleagues. Members are encouraged to apply for consideration as a College Workplace Representative.

Some activities a WPR may undertake to enhance their professional practice environment in their workplace include:

  • Providing a communication link between RNs in the workplace and the College;
  • Assisting colleagues to understand and integrate the Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitioner Practice and other resources for practice;
  • Assisting colleagues to understand the College’s mandate and to value professional self-regulation;
  • Providing access to resources to support nursing practice in the workplace.

For information on vacancies within the WPR program, please contact Jennifer Lynch at [email protected].
