Harm Reduction 101: A Nursing Perspective

Harm Reduction 101 is an introductory, one hour webinar, that discusses Basic Harm Reduction principles and practices, and participants will learn specific strategies for reducing harms related to health care. There is also reflective learning and content on the impacts of stigma in health care delivery.
The hope of the webinar is for participants to begin the integration of harm reduction in their daily practice, and to recognize when practices may be contrary to those principles and practices. This session will be of interest to health care professionals, persons with lived and living experience, family members, and community agencies.
