A Review of Best Practices for Documentation

The expectation for quality documentation lives in the Standards of Practice for RNs and NPs and the Code of Ethics. Documentation is an integral part of professional nursing practice. It is not separate from care and it is not optional.
The purpose of this presentation is to discuss the expectations for documentation within the context of any practice setting.
